Template:Infobox cape The Builder Cape is a Minecraft:cape that is given out as a promotion for TwitchCon 2026, alongside the Minecraft:Crafter Cape.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

Appearance

The cape's design is similar to the Minecraft:Crafter Cape, which depicts an Minecraft:iron pickaxe on a Minecraft:crafting table background, but the pickaxe is shown upside-down.

Distribution

Players could receive this cape by redeeming a code, which could be obtained by participating on one of these two platforms:

• Watch any livestream on Minecraft:Twitch for 5 minutes. (On Template:LocalizedTime, Twitch ran out of codes for this cape, making Minecraft:TikTok the only option left)
  or
• Watch any livestream on Minecraft:TikTok for 3 minutes.

This can be done between May 30 and June 14, 2026. All codes for this cape must be redeemed by June 30, 2026.<ref name=":0">Template:Mcnet</ref>

This task could not be completed normally in regions where the streaming platforms' rewards programs were unavailable. Players in these regions could obtain the cape by using a proxy/VPN, traveling to regions where they were available, or receiving a code from another player.

Trivia

• The design layout is similar to the teaser poster for Template:AMCS.
• After Minecraft Live, various players had trouble claiming the cape through Twitch due to technical reasons.<ref>Template:Discord</ref>
