It says, "I hereby acknowledge that Vangreef's debt to me is paid." It has an elven signature symbol and the letters "SS". Then at the bottom is another note by the author: "Don't waste that spell, Vangreef. Even if you could afford a second casting, I can't recast it until the moon waxes anew. Be smart and fast or your whole gang WILL die down there. And nobody will be able to rescue you."
