ProjectGorgon:Story Quests

ProjectGorgon:Story Quests are Quests which are considered part of the "Main Quest" of the Project Gorgon. These quests use the keyword "MainQuest" in the json files and [[ProjectGorgon::Category:Quests/Story Quests]] on the wiki.

Part 1: Serbule & Serbule Hills

The ProjectGorgon:Story Quests begin when a player first reaches Serbule or Serbule Hills and speaks with a projection of ProjectGorgon:Yurra. Reading through Yurra's conversation will start the quests ProjectGorgon:Brain Bug Infestation and ProjectGorgon:The Red Crystal.

• If a player teleports off ProjectGorgon:Anagoge, Yurra will be found east of Serbule Keep on a stone pedestal near some rocky hills.
• If a player leaves ProjectGorgon:Anagoge through the ProjectGorgon:Serbule Hills Spider Cave, Yurra will be just outside the cave.
• Known Issue: Sometimes Yurra may vanish. One method to force her appearance is to enter then exit the Spider Cave.

Brain Bug Infestation

• Begin this quest by speaking with ProjectGorgon:Yurra.
• Complete this quest by finding ProjectGorgon:Azalak and completing the quest ProjectGorgon:The Fate of Commander Ferrows.

The Fate of Commander Ferrows

• Follow ProjectGorgon:Azalak's instructions to enter the ProjectGorgon:Brain Bug Cave.
• Search the cave until you find the interactable objects ProjectGorgon:Ferrows Testament and ProjectGorgon:Second Column Diary.
• After reading the lore items, return to ProjectGorgon:Azalak.

The Red Crystal

• Begin this quest by speaking with ProjectGorgon:Yurra.
• Complete this quest by finding ProjectGorgon:Blanche and speaking with her, beginning ProjectGorgon:Get Crystal Samples. Blanche does not speak to ProjectGorgon:Beast Forms.

Part 2: Eltibule

Completing both ProjectGorgon:Brain Bug Infestation and ProjectGorgon:Get Crystal Samples will automatically start the next part of the ProjectGorgon:Story Quests, ProjectGorgon:Chasing Dalvos to Eltibule.

Chasing Dalvos to Eltibule

• Begin this quest by going through the portal from Serbule to ProjectGorgon:Eltibule.
• You must use the portal from Serbule to Eltibule to advance the quest.
• Known Issue: If you use a teleportation pad or another method to reach Eltibule, the quest will not properly advance. You must return to Serbule and take the portal back to Eltibule to continue the quest.
• After the quest successfully advances, you must speak with ProjectGorgon:Oritania in ProjectGorgon:Eltibule Keep to start the quest ProjectGorgon:Learn Oritania's Secret Info.

Learn Oritania's Secret Info

• This quest tasks you to complete some additional favors for Oritania, which include the quests ProjectGorgon:Kill Goblins and ProjectGorgon:Kill Spiders. It is unclear of the quest ProjectGorgon:Oritania's Navel Ring given by ProjectGorgon:Larsan is also required, but it seems unlikely.
• Known Issue: If you completed ProjectGorgon:Kill Goblins or ProjectGorgon:Kill Spiders before receiving ProjectGorgon:Chasing Dalvos to Eltibule or advancing that quest to its "Find someone who knows about Dalvos" stage, the quest ProjectGorgon:Learn Oritania's Secret Info may not be available. Some players in this situation have found that returning to Serbule, traveling back to Eltibule, then speaking with ProjectGorgon:Oritania again may auto-complete this quest.
• Speaking with Oritania after completing her favors will unlock the quest ProjectGorgon:Find Dalvos's Machine Parts

Find Dalvos's Machine Parts

• Begin this Story Quest by completing ProjectGorgon:Learn Oritania's Secret Info and reading through a new conversation.
• Travel into the ProjectGorgon:Goblin Dungeon and head to the lower floor. You will need to collect three items which might each be hidden in one of seven different chests between the entrance to the upper floor and the Ancient Beacon.
• Known Issue: Players who enter the Goblin Dungeon after receiving the quest and collect all three items in a single trip have not reported issues with this quest. Players who leave the dungeon or travel to the upper floor may have difficulties finding whichever of the three key items they did not initially collect, and it reportedly takes a few trips into the dungeon to get the missing item(s) to spawn in chests.

• Start this quest by speaking with ProjectGorgon:Jesina.
• Return to the ProjectGorgon:Goblin Dungeon under ProjectGorgon:Eltibule Keep and search for ProjectGorgon:Sarina, who can be spoken to after defeating ProjectGorgon:Algapa and the surrounding mobs.
• After freeing Sarina, return to Jesina.
• Speaking to Jesina will complete the quest, teach the ProjectGorgon:Art History skill, and unlock the Story Quest ProjectGorgon:Meet with Jesina and Sarina. It will also unlock the regular favor quests ProjectGorgon:Pick-Me-Up, ProjectGorgon:Flitterbies (Comfortable favor with Jesina), and ProjectGorgon:Sarina's Lost Clothes (Friends favor with Jesina).
• Known Issue: Players who free Sarina can complete ProjectGorgon:Save Sarina before they receive ProjectGorgon:Get Jesina's Help, but they might have to re-enter the Goblin Dungeon and save Sarina again to progress. Occasionally Sarina will also respawn in the dungeon months or years after a player completes ProjectGorgon:Save Sarina, but the respawn does not appear to impact progression.
