A quantum interdiction generator is a vehicle component used in quantum enforcement to disrupt nearby ships' StarCitizen:quantum drives. These devices combine two capabilities: a snare (pulls ships out of, and blocks, StarCitizen:quantum travel) and a dampener (blocks quantum-drive engagement). The combination defines the device class:

  • QED (Quantum Enforcement Device) — snare and dampener
  • QDMP (Quantum Dampener) — dampener only
  • QID (Quantum Interdiction Device) — snare only
