History

Malgo was a dwarven druid of GuthixTemplate:CiteJournal long before Zamorak's curse stripped dwarves of their ability to wield magic, Malgo was one of the greatest spellcasters among dwarfkind.Template:CiteJournal

When Guthix's expedition arrived in Ashenfall, Malgo joined a small band of explorers.Template:CiteJournal Their journey led them to the Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands region where they made remarkable discoveries, including new ores, rare materials, and forgotten treasures hidden beneath the desert sands.Template:CiteJournal Among these finds was Adamant, a metal whose true potential Malgo was among the first to recognize.

Yet the sands held more than riches. Deep beneath the desert slumbered Karibdos, the Devourer, a colossal beast that nearly destroyed the expedition.Template:CiteJournalTemplate:CiteJournal When the creature opened a vast sand vortex to consume the explorers, Malgo summoned great vines to pull his companions to safety.Template:CiteJournal

Many were lost to the beast, and when the survivors struck back, their weapons proved too weak to pierce Karibdos's hide. They escaped and the creature returned to its slumber to await their return.Template:CiteJournal

Determined not to let Karibdos bar the expedition's path home, Malgo turned his attention to the newly acquired adamantite, studying the metal carefully and experimenting with techniques none had tried before, even infusing it with a little magic. Through this work, he discovered its true strength.Template:CiteJournal

Armed with suits and weapons made of solid adamant, the expedition confronted Karibdos a second time and emerged victorious, when Karibdos attempted to devour them this time it's teeth shattered on the impregnable armor and the weapons tore through it's tough hide.Template:CiteJournalTemplate:CiteJournal

With Karibdos slain, Malgo and the surviving members of his expedition ventured deeper into Ashenfall, disappearing from history and passing into legend.Template:CiteJournal
