Beta 1.0_01 is a second version of Minecraft:Java Edition Beta released on December 20, 2010,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5ZFRdEXc8M</ref><ref>Template:Twon</ref> to fix some of the bugs and crashes in Beta 1.0.

• Fixed Minecraft:double chest bug where the player could not select the items in the bottom two rows of the inventory.
• Fixed rare crash on level load bug.
• Fixed the lighting bug from the Minecraft:chunks that are far away from the player during nighttime.

• 1.0_01 uses an inconsistent Minecraft:version format to its surrounding versions. It was succeeded by Minecraft:Beta 1.0.2, not "1.0.1", implying this version was retroactively relabeled "1.0.1" instead of "1.0_01".
