15w31b is the second Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.9, released on July 30, 2015<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/0/https://www.mojang.com/2015/07/minecraft-snapshot-15w31a/</ref> to fix some bugs and crashes from Minecraft:15w31a, including an important one regarding books and signs.

• Can be used to put out fires, temporarily creating a little water puddle.

  • Can no longer induce people from being kicked from Minecraft:servers.

  • The details on Minecraft:item models are now highlighted completely while held, instead of being just a box.
  • Worn Minecraft:armor and held items get highlighted with the corresponding team color, instead of overriding them.
