0.9487<ref name="blog">Template:Link</ref> is the first major update to MinecraftEdu. It is based on Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.8.1. Which adds a logging in screen.

• "I am student" option allows the player to choose their outfit and connect to the server as a student.
