Minecraft:Poplar

A poplar is a Minecraft:tree that generates in Minecraft:dappled forests. Poplar trees feature light brown Minecraft:poplar logs, as well as yellow, orange, and red Minecraft:poplar leaves. Both standing and fallen poplar trees feature Minecraft:shelf mushrooms growing on their sides.

Minecraft:Poplar saplings generate a poplar tree with a random leaf color of red, orange, or yellow.

Appearance

Poplar trees, like most trees, have a multi-block trunk, although topped by an especially large cluster of leaves. They may have logs and shelf mushrooms attached to the trunk facing outwards.

Generation

Poplar trees generate naturally only in the Minecraft:dappled forest biome.

Fallen poplars

Fallen poplars may consist of a single upright log, or a stump. Logs lying on their side are often found 1–2 blocks from the stump. They occasionally have mushrooms on top or shelf mushrooms on the side.

A fallen polar has a log length of 4–7 blocks and the stump is 75% covered with vines.
