Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.4/Development

A couple of development versions of Beta 1.4 were developed between March 15 and March 31, 2011 to test the addition of Minecraft:wolves.

Wolf Test (March 15, 2011)

Additions

• Have a texture completely different from the release.
• Their appearance resemble a wolf with dark, grey skin.

Sit Test (March 16, 2011)

Changes

• Now have a different texture, resembling a wolf with white skin and grey patches.

Tame Test (March 18, 2011)

Changes

• Changed texture once again, now being close to the release.

• Version number still says Beta 1.3.
