Minecraft:MINECON 2010

MINECON 2010 was a gathering of Minecraft fans on a Minecraft:Java Edition Classic server from May 30 to June 1, 2010, to celebrate the first anniversary of the game's initial Classic release.<ref name="forum_thread">Template:Citation</ref>

Event

The event was organized through a Minecraft:Minecraft Forum thread,<ref name="forum_thread" /> which served as the unofficial hub for the server. Activities included:

• A Minecraft:spleef tournament.
• A building competition.
• An obstacle course race (a planned Minecraft:griefing competition was canceled).
• A signature wall where 167 participants, including Minecraft:Notch, left their marks.

The server world was made available for download after the event<ref name="forum_thread" /><ref>Template:Citation</ref> and is compatible with Minecraft:Classic server 1.10.1 and Minecraft:Classic 0.30c.
