Minecraft:Java Edition 22w43a

22w43a is the second Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.19.3, released on October 26, 2022,<ref>Template:Snap</ref> which introduces chat report drafting, makes additional tweaks to creative inventory organization, and fixes bugs.

Additions

General

Minecraft:Chat

• Added drafts for player reports, which can keep player reports temporarily while connected to a server.
  • When exiting the player reporting screen, the report can be either discarded or kept as a draft.
    • The draft is always kept if the screen was forcefully closed (e.g. player dying).
  • Draft reports are kept until the player leaves the current server or world.
    • When leaving, the player is prompted to either discard or finish and send the report.

Minecraft:Languages

• Added Nahuatl.<ref group=note>Also available for versions since Minecraft:22w42a.</ref>
• Added Rusyn.<ref group=note>Also available for versions since Minecraft:21w37a.</ref>

Blocks

• No longer provide center support beneath them.
  • For example, hanging signs can no longer be placed under fence gates.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Creative inventory

• Icons of several creative tabs changed for color-coding and to better reflect iconic visuals.
• Renamed the "Nature Blocks" tab to "Natural Blocks".
• Moved Minecraft:dirt and Minecraft:stone blocks to the top of the natural blocks tab.
• Added water bottles to the "Consumables" tab, after being absent in the previous snapshots.
• Reordered Minecraft:quartz, so smooth quartz is a separate section of blocks.
• Climbable plant blocks are now together in the natural blocks tab.
• Changed order of waxed copper blocks.
• Changed order of coral blocks to be consistent with corals/coral fans.
• Moved Minecraft:netherrack next to Minecraft:nylium in natural blocks tab.
• Reordered equipment so golden tools and weapons are now in a more logical order.
• Normal rails are now placed before special rails.
• Reordered colored blocks, such as Minecraft:wool and Minecraft:terracotta, in the style of a rainbow gradient.
• Moved signs up higher in the "Functional Blocks" tab.
• Basalt blocks are now found after nether brick blocks in the "Building Blocks" tab, next to blackstone.
• Generally reordered the plants in the natural blocks tab.

Minecraft:Chat

• The chat reporting screen now shows when the player being reported rejoined chat.

Protocol

• Profile public keys are now refreshed without reconnecting.
• Clients now reset their chat session on receiving a login packet.
