Spawning
Behavior
Template:Expand section A pet will come to the Minecraft:player when called upon with the "summon" button. It will not run away from the player and will follow them around like other tamed animals.
Players can interact with their pet by pressing the "play" button. This causes the pet to run away to chase a tennis ball before returning to the player. The player can also command the pet to "stay" like other tamed animals. A pet cannot be fed.

Template:Expand section The Chinese Marketplace offers a wide variety of skins for the pet. The basic fox skin is free, while others are unlocked via in-game currency or event rewards. The current skins include:

A pet has an "animations" tab that has 7 buttons: Rest, Hop, Roll Around, Shake, Excitement, Look Around, and Furrify.
