Minecraft:Vareide

Template:Wip Vareide (full name Dennis Vareide) is a YouTube creator who made several officially used trailers for Minecraft:Minecraft.

During Minecraft:Java Edition Alpha he made several unofficial trailers such as "Minecraft Fan-Made Trailer", "Minecraft Fanmade Teaser", "Minecraft Fanmade Trailer v2" and "This Is Minecraft", among other videos.

These videos became very popular in the early Minecraft community, and Minecraft:Notch put "This Is Minecraft" on the front page of Minecraft:Minecraft.net for approximately a year between late 2010 and late 2011, making it the first official trailer for Minecraft. Vareide then went on to create the Minecraft:Official Minecraft Trailer.

Vareide continued to make more Minecraft videos on his channel until 2014. He then pivoted to making other videos elsewhere that were not Minecraft-related. His original channel was later renamed to "This channel is not active".<ref>https://www.youtube.com/@Vareide</ref><ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpc7kN4gBEo</ref>
