Minecraft:Ice Desert

Template:DistinguishTemplate:See also Template:Outdated Template:Infobox biome Ice deserts are a removed snow-covered Minecraft:biome, which existed prior to the Minecraft:Adventure Update. The biome consisted of large Minecraft:sand flats, with a snow layer cover.

Description

Ice deserts are similar in appearance to Minecraft:tundras, with fairly flat land and small hills. However, instead of grass, the surface is primarily made up of sand. Flowers and trees do not generate in this biome, and passive mobs do not spawn in it. The ice desert biome was supposed to generate around tundras, however, it does not get selected by the function which maps temperature and rainfall to biomes.
