Jackson Middle School is the primary setting of the Minecraft:Free Comic Book Day story Minecraft:Changes. An average middle school attended by the protagonists, which becomes the sight of a coming of age discovery that bolsters their friendship.
Location
The school appears to be placed in a temperate region, with visible trees and a clear sky.
Architecture
The outside of the building shows a single floor, primarily consisting of concrete pillars, red bricks, and glass windows close to the top. Inside the building is a reflective floor, white walls, and red and teal trimmings.
Layout
Outside of the school is a sidewalk leading to the entrance, with the school's sign to the right side of the building. Students enter up a flight of stairs with a ramp, into an entryway with a a single door to the right, and to the left is a row of at least twenty red lockers. In front of that is a yellow door, leading to a classroom. Somewhere in the building is a classroom with a red door, containing the same floor as the hallway, with slightly greener walls and the windows visible outside.
To the right side of the classroom are two bulletin boards built into a whiteboard, adorned with several notes. Right from there is an empty teacher's desk at an angle, while to the left are several posters and brown cabinets with a white countertop. Throughout the room are at least six seen student desks, one getting destroyed and converted into Minecraft:planks.
Culture
On the walls of the hallway, a paw print symbol can be seen, presumably the logo of their sports team.

History
During an unspecified year, the young children Minecraft:Penny and Minecraft:Phillip enrolled in Jackson Middle School.
One day, Penny began experiencing unexpected changes, but was forced to attend school anyway and wore a winter cap to cover her mutation. Immediately after entering, she seeked out Phillip for guidance, and brought him into a vacant classroom to explain what happened to her. After a demonstration of her strength, the two began testing out her new powers, and had fun tinkering with the equipment there. After creating a Minecraft:creeper, Penny unwittingly gets herself killed, but quickly calls back over phone to assure Phillip she respawned at her bed. The tension relieved, Penny asked if she and him could continue playing at the school.
