Causes

Cause	Potency	Length	Notes

Template:BlockLink set to Haste II	II	0:17	Replenishes when in range. Requires beacon pyramid level 4.

All Minecraft:mobs are unaffected by Haste.

Interaction with Mining Fatigue

Minecraft:Mining Fatigue III inflicted by Minecraft:elder guardians prevents the player from Minecraft:instant mining most blocks regardless of the Haste effect, along with a huge decrease of mining speed. However, lower levels of Mining Fatigue can be overcome by Haste of level III or greater, with a resultant reduced Haste effect.

Trivia

Above level 5, the Minecraft:player's arm does not move while mining.
An alternative method of increasing mining speed is the Minecraft:Efficiency enchantment. Its effects stack with Haste.
Negative levels decrease mining and attack speed, similar to Minecraft:Mining Fatigue.
