Civic Pride Mechanics
Oil Lamps
There are oil lamps in several zones that can be tended for ProjectGorgon:Civic Pride XP in three ways:
- Refilling with
- Lighting after 7 pm (map-time).
- - Only the first person to light a lamp will gain experience from that lamp.
- Snuffing after 5 am (map-time).
- - Only the first person to extinguish a lamp will gain experience from that lamp.
Torches
Torches may also be tended for xp:
- Refilling with or other wood chips
- Lighting after 7 pm (map-time).
- - Only the first person to light a torch will gain experience from that lamp.
- Snuffing after 5 am (map-time).
- - Only the first person to extinguish a torch will gain experience from that lamp.

There are a few locations where you may dispose of items in exchange for ProjectGorgon:Civic Pride XP.

- 7 Oil Lamps near the Inn
- - Experience for refueling starts at 10xp and decreases as you level
- - Lighting Oil Lamps is worth 20xp
- - Snuffing Oil Lamps is worth 20xp
ProjectGorgon:Serbule Civic Pride
- 38 Oil Lamps in and around ProjectGorgon:Serbule Keep
- - Experience for refueling starts at 20, then reduces to 1xp as you level the skill.
- - Lighting Oil Lamps is worth 20xp
- - Snuffing Oil Lamps is worth 20xp
- ProjectGorgon:Velkort's ProjectGorgon:Sentient Flame will consume items and return xp
ProjectGorgon:Eltibule Civic Pride
- There are torches in both ProjectGorgon:Eltibule Keep (8) and ProjectGorgon:Hogan's Keep (16)
- - Refueling gives 2xp
- - Lighting Torches gives 10xp
- - Snuffing Torches gives 10xp
ProjectGorgon:Red Wing Casino Civic Pride
- Disposing of trash in trash cans in the ProjectGorgon:Red Wing Casino.
- - Experience granted is based on (Item Value * Amount Disposed) / 200 = Civic Pride xp.
- - To receive experience, you must deposit at least 2 items worth a total of 200 councils or more. The system will round down.
- - Example: 40 deposited = (5 * 40) / 200 = 1 xp Civic Pride .
ProjectGorgon:Rahu Civic Pride
- 8 Oil Lamps in the neutral part of town, 21 in and around the hostile part, and 1 by the Ilmari portal
Note: At this time, there is no Civic Pride XP awarded for filling the Rahu zone lamps or turning on or off.

Trivia
- ProjectGorgon:Civic Pride was added to Project Gorgon as part of the August 15, 2015 patch.
- One In-Game hour passes every five minutes. Midnight/noon in-game is the top of each even/odd hour, respectively, server time (Eastern Standard/Daylight).
- ProjectGorgon:Civic Pride XP has been a reward during the ProjectGorgon:Suspicious Lemons events.
- The ProjectGorgon:Civil Service event awards large amounts of ProjectGorgon:Civic Pride XP as bonuses for completing event quests.
