Usage

{{CiteDiscord|author=|url=|date=|quote=|image=|ctximage=|ctxquote=|notes=|name=|group=}}

author

The author of the message(s).

url

The URL of the Discord message. You can right-click the message and click "Copy Message Link" for it.

date

The date the message was posted in the format dd month yyyy.

quote

The exact transcript of the message(s) in question. Exclude mentions from the quote unless necessary for interpretation.

image

The filename of a screenshot uploaded to the wiki serves as proof that the message was sent from the person who answered the question. Filenames should follow a naming scheme of "QuotedAuthor description of the image.png" e.g., File:Mod Dutch Answer - Fellhollow underground and ravines.png or Wooden Arrow Origins.png. Do not include the File: prefix, but make sure the end of the file name includes a .png, and include a {{Fair use}} license with the |link parameter to the Discord message link.

ctximage (Optional)

If the message is a reply to another message, point this field to the filename of a screenshot with the original question uploaded to the wiki, which serves as proof for the original message. Do not include the File: prefix, but make sure the end of the file name includes a .png, and include a {{Fair use}} license with the |link= parameter to the Discord message link. Make sure to make the description of the image the same. For example, File:Mod Cyphus Answer - Dragonwilds Development.png and File:Keplare Question - Dragonwilds Development.png have the same descriptor.

ctxquote (Optional)

If the message is a reply to another message, quote the message that is being replied to in this field.
