Template:Documentation header Template:Shortcut This template is similar to {{Comment}}, but has different syntax.

Syntax

{{FurtherExtendedComment|before|main|after|mainreplacement}}

Where:

before is the text before the comment text.

main is the comment text.

after is the text after the comment text.

mainreplacement is the replacement for the comment text.

Examples

{{FurtherExtendedComment|I |agree| with your suggestion.}}

{{FurtherExtendedComment|I |comment| with your suggestion.|have something to say}}

{{FurtherExtendedComment||Support| your suggestion.}}

Traditional method

You can still achieve this using {{Comment}} by using your alternative text as the second parameter, however using this makes the comment easier to read as wikitext.
