Minecraft:Copper Bars

Template:Redirect Template:Infobox block Copper bars are Minecraft:copper variants of Minecraft:bars. Unlike Minecraft:iron bars, they are colored copper orange and can Minecraft:oxidize over time, similar to other copper blocks.

Copper bars can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, nothing is dropped.

Waxing

Like other copper blocks, the waxed variant can be obtained by Template:Control a Minecraft:honeycomb item on the block.

Usage

Oxidation

Template:Main Non-waxed copper bars have four stages of oxidation (including the initial normal state). Minecraft:Lightning bolts and Minecraft:axes can remove the oxidation on copper bars. They can be waxed with Minecraft:honeycomb to prevent oxidation from progressing.

As the block begins to oxidize (exposed), it gets discolored and green spots begin to appear. As the oxidation continues (weathered), the block is a green color with brown spots. In the last stage (oxidized), the block is teal with several green spots.
