Minecraft:Heat Block

Template:Education feature Template:Infobox block Heat block is a Minecraft:block that can melt Minecraft:snow and Minecraft:ice like a Minecraft:torch, but it does not give off Minecraft:light.

Breaking

The suitable tool to break heat block is Minecraft:pickaxe. Heat block needs to be broken using a pickaxe, otherwise the breaking time will increase and the block drops nothing. Template:Breaking row Heat block drops itself when it's destroyed.

Usage

Heat blocks melt Minecraft:snow layers and Minecraft:ice within 2 blocks (Minecraft:taxicab distance). It is unique in that it is the only block that melts objects without giving off Minecraft:light.

• The ingredients of the heat block corresponds to the contents of hand warmers. A hand warmer generates heat due to the same electrochemistry that rusts iron in seawater, but with powdered iron the effect becomes more appreciable.
