Honeycomb blocks can be broken using any Minecraft:tool,<ref>Template:Bug</ref> and always drop as an item. Breaking time is unaffected by tool type or enchantments.

Honeycomb blocks can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "flute" sounds.Template:Only<ref>Template:Bug</ref>

Sulfur cube

Template:In development Minecraft:Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb honeycomb blocks, either through picking them up or being interacted with them. This provides the sticky effect to the mob when hitting it.
