Minecraft:Pale Hanging Moss

Template:Distinguish Template:Infobox block Pale hanging moss is a block found under the logs and leaves of Minecraft:pale oaks. When attached to a pale oak log or leaves, it emits ambient sounds.

Obtaining

Breaking

Pale hanging moss can be broken instantly with any tool or by hand. It drops itself only when mined with Minecraft:shears or a tool enchanted with Minecraft:Silk Touch, otherwise it drops nothing.

Natural generation

Pale hanging moss generates under the leaves and logs of Minecraft:pale oaks in Minecraft:pale gardens. Pale hanging moss does not grow naturally after generating or being placed. Pale hanging moss does not generate as part of pale oaks grown from Minecraft:saplings.

Post-generation

By applying bone meal to pale hanging moss, the plant will grow one block longer at the bottom.

Minecraft:Wandering traders may sell 3 pale hanging moss for 1 Minecraft:emerald. Template:Trade sources

Mob loot

Template:IN, Minecraft:wandering traders have a chance of 8.5% (increased by 1% per level of Minecraft:Looting) to drop 3 pale hanging moss when killed while showing the item as trade offer, if the player holds an Minecraft:emerald.

Pale hanging moss emits subtle atmospheric sounds when it is attached to Minecraft:pale oak leaves or a Minecraft:pale oak log.

Composting

Placing pale hanging moss into a Minecraft:composter has a 30% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
