Potone redstone ore must be mined with an Minecraft:iron hoe or better, otherwise it drops nothing.
Breaking the ore drops 4-5 Minecraft:redstone dust, unless mined with a Minecraft:Silk Touch hoe. It is affected by Minecraft:Fortune enchantment, dropping up to 8 redstone dust, or 6 redstone dust on average with Fortune III.
Natural generation
Potone redstone ore generates in patches through the Potato dimension in place of Minecraft:potone.
