Minecraft:Quartz Slab

Template:Infobox block A quartz slab is a decorative Minecraft:slab variant of Minecraft:quartz that does not generate naturally and is used for building.

Quartz slabs can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Usage

Quartz slabs can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.

Trivia

• Because of the low blast resistance of regular quartz blocks, it may be preferable to use two quartz slabs or smooth quartz blocks when making fortifications using quartz, as their blast resistance is higher than the other quartz block variants.
