Minecraft:Raw Chicken

Raw chicken is a Minecraft:food item that can be eaten by the Minecraft:player. It can be cooked in a Minecraft:furnace, Minecraft:smoker, or a Minecraft:campfire to make Minecraft:cooked chicken.

Tamed Minecraft:cats have a 70% chance to give the Minecraft:player a gift as they wake up from a Minecraft:bed, and the gift has a 16.13% chance to be raw chicken.

Usage

Food

To eat raw chicken, press and hold Template:Control while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores Template:Hunger hunger and 1.2 hunger saturation, but has a 30% chance of inflicting food poisoning (the Template:EffectLink effect for 30 seconds).

Wolves

Raw chicken can be used to Minecraft:breed and heal tamed Minecraft:wolves, lead them around, and make baby tamed wolves grow up faster by 10% of the remaining time.

Wolves are at no risk of food poisoning.
