Minecraft:Raw Iron

Raw Iron is an item obtained by mining Minecraft:iron ore. It can be smelted in a Minecraft:furnace or Minecraft:blast furnace to produce Minecraft:iron ingots, which are used in crafting and building.

Obtaining

Mining

Minecraft:Iron ore and Minecraft:deepslate iron ore mined with a Minecraft:stone pickaxe or a higher-tier pickaxe drop 1 unit of raw iron. When mined with a pickaxe enchanted with Minecraft:Fortune, the ore can drop an additional unit per level of the enchantment, up to a maximum of 4 units with Fortune III. If mined with a pickaxe enchanted with Minecraft:Silk Touch, the ore block itself is dropped instead.

Usage

Raw iron can be smelted in a Minecraft:furnace or Minecraft:blast furnace to produce iron ingots, which are used in crafting Minecraft:tools, Minecraft:weapons, Minecraft:armor, and many other iron items.
