A SouliTemplate:SClang, often translated as 'guild', is a group of cohabiting StarCitizen:Banu who have formed an alliance centered around a specific, shared skillset. It is the foundation for life in the StarCitizen:Banu Protectorate, where Banu work and live together. Each Souli specializes in a specific industry and can vary widely. This regimented division of labor translates directly into the skilled expertise present on Banu worlds, markets and trade-vessels making for a memorable visit.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> There is a Souli to cover every aspects of life, including medicine, item manufacturing, repair, writing, politics, religion, bureaucracy, trade, and so forth.<ref name="galactapedia">Template:Cite RSI</ref>
Every Souli is led by one Essosouli Template:SClang. Traditionally, the Essosouli tends to be the one who founded the Souli, showing that they had collected enough wealth from their skills that they can afford to hire others. Often, a Banu can inherit most of the assets to form a new Souli when their previous Essosouli divests. This is different from the Human notion of inheritance since the Souli itself is reformed when the new Essosouli takes control.
There is no one specific Souli that manufactures Banu spacecrafts. As the Logo suggests, they are Made by Banu Template:SClang<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1r2tzym/banu_souli_is_not_banu_manufacturers_real_brand/</ref>. Meanwhile, unlike other manufacturers, manufacturer Soulis also don't sell the spaceships by themselves, but by groups of Spacecraft SoulisTemplate:SClang<ref>A Rust Society Guide To Interacting with The Banu</ref>.
