Garron II is a terrestrial rocky planet in StarCitizen:Garron system protected under the StarCitizen:Fair Chance Act.

This rocky planet was home to an amazingly diverse biosphere with an equally varied array of lifeforms until the Messers essentially eliminated the indigenous life by replacing the atmosphere. Since then, StarCitizen:terraforming companies and scientists have worked to restore the planet to its former self and although they have not been able to recreate any of the creatures, they've made great strides in repopulating much of the botanical life, in large part thanks to the hundreds of detailed scans Shiherlis and his team recorded. Despite not having any inhabitants, this planet has been placed under the Fair Chance Act.

StarCitizen:Humans of the systems. This is Tide. Pull the veil from your eyes and see. Garron II was a developing world with a vast array of species. We say "was" because they are no more. The StarCitizen:Imperator and his Corp minions terraformed the planet, killing everything to feed their insatiable greed. Pull the veil from your eyes and see for yourself.

Terraforming Attempt

Massacre of Garron II

The First Massacre of Garron II

In 2792, a terraforming Corp began to terraform Garron II, a planet with pre-existing developing life-forms. The inhabitants weren't star-travellers, just a developing race, which were wiped out by the StarCitizen:Atmo-Processors.<ref group="Note">According to the in-fiction ARK StarCitizen:Galactapedia, this was the 'actual' Massacre of Garron II. The following Massacre of Vale, however, is not even mentioned there.</ref> The corp vehemently denied that the aliens were capable of conscious thought.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Activist vid-footage of the aliens' rational behavior was leaked to the StarCitizen:Spectrum.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Urprising of April 12

On April 12 2792, a group calling themself "StarCitizen:Tide" was able to hijack the news and delivered the following message:

StarCitizen:Humans of the systems. This is Tide. Pull the veil from your eyes and see. Garron II was a developing world with a vast array of species. We say was because they are no more. The Imperator and his Corp minions terraformed the planet, killing everything to feed their insatiable greed. Pull the veil from your eyes and see for yourself.<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

The message resonated with the public who were already at breaking point, and a coup began that swept across the Empire.

Massacre of Vale

On April 27, military and police forces opened fire, killing over two-hundred and thirty peaceful demonstrators on StarCitizen:Vale. After the massacre there was no stopping the uprising.<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com"/>

Aftermath

By May 3, the revolt that had started on Vale had reached all the way to StarCitizen:Earth. The people overthrew StarCitizen:Messer XI, ending the reign of the Messers for good.<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com"/>

Artificial Satellites

StarCitizen:OB Heller

A station placed near Garron II, OB Heller houses the scientific teams working to restore the planet, but the station also acts as an ecotourist site to educate and inform people about terraforming, the Fair Chance Act, Humanity's responsibility and the StarCitizen:Synthworld.
