StarCitizen:Hammerhead series/Paints
More actions
These hull skins, more commonly referred to as "Paints", are liveries specifically created for the Hammerhead series vehicles, manufactured by StarCitizen:Aegis Dynamics.
At present, these liveries can be swapped using the "Vehicles" tab on the player's StarCitizen:mobiGlas. However, this can only be done at the same location where the vehicle is stored and that the paint being used is also in that locations "Local" inventory.
While a few paints can be bought with StarCitizen:aUEC at certain in-game stores or received as a reward for partaking in a particular event, currently, most can only be acquired by purchasing them on the RSI pledge store. The below pricing are in US dollars, excluding any local taxes that would apply.
The paints below are compatible with the following vehicles , *unless stated otherwise.

Notes
- (a). The 2949 Best In Show livery was originally only obtainable by applying a ship upgrade from a Hammerhead to Hammerhead Best In Show Edition, which was awarded to Hammerhead owners during the 2949 IAE event, while the paint could not be removed from the said special edition ship and applied on a separate ship of the same chassis in-game through mobiGlas. However, a separately-appliable paint bucket has recently been added to the game files, at a significantly later stage, that gives the exact same livery. The exact date of this change is unknown and unannounced, but it occurred sometime at least before 2025-10-20 (in or before Patch 4.3.1). Furthermore, the livery was directly added to the upgrade/BiS ship pledge (like how Apollo's modules were directly added to existing Apollo pledges when the ship was released), rather than a standalone web hangar item like other later-BiS liveries, while the livery also became removable from the special edition ship, meaning the pledge owners practically have access to 2 copies of the livery at the same time. Removing the livery from the said special edition ship retains the livery's appearance and does not yet change its appearance to that of a normal Hammerhead as of Patch 4.6. There seems to be some confusion regarding this, as for some owners, the paint does not show up in-game on mobiGlas, while for some others, they are able to see a copy of the paint bucket in home city inventory.
