Perigree Press is an indie publisher.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

It released Admiral Cool versus the Karate Dogs from Mars under a 'try before you buy' license, that helped make StarCitizen:James Romanov and StarCitizen:James Vandyke household names.<ref name=":0" />

They also designed a suite of StarCitizen:simpod training exercises designed with and for StarCitizen:Shubin Interstellar to prepare Shubin employees for what to do if they should encounter hostiles during the course of their job. This series of instructional simulations immerses people in several different scenarios and teaches best practices to ensure that they and their fellow Shubin employees survive.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Trivia

  • It's based on Apogee Software, later known as Apogee Entertainment, which popularized shareware distribution back in the early 90s. It helped start John Carmack and John Romero's careers by publishing Commander Keen before ID Software made Doom. Perigee is the opposite of apogee, the closest orbital point vs the farthest orbital point.
