Dragonwilds:Axtral Projection

From SAS Gaming Wiki
Revision as of 18:30, 9 April 2026 by SyncBot (talk | contribs) (Fix template calls: add DW/ prefix)

Template:Infobox Spell Axtral Projection is a Dragonwilds:spell which is used to fell trees instantly and to cut down vines covering caves. It is possible to fell multiple trees with a single cast if the trees are lined up and in range of the spell of up to 20 metres. It can also be used to clear stumps, but cannot split logs, as this is done by the spell Dragonwilds:Splinter.

The player must have an Dragonwilds:axe in their inventory to cast it, and the trees the spell can chop are limited by the highest-tier axe the player has. Note that Dragonwilds:monsters can take 1-3 damage if they are in the spell's projected path, making the monster aggressive toward the player.

Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
There is nothing trees fear more than this spell. Crafted by their ancient enemy, the lumberjack, this spell has wiped out whole legions of arboreal sentinels. Dragonwilds:Guthix taught this spell to the people of Dragonwilds:Brynmoor, hoping that it would help them expand their settlement. It worked perhaps too well, and soon entire forests would find themselves reduced to stumps. Guthix was forced to implement restrictions to the spell, preventing any but the most senior druids from using it. Since his death this restriction has been lifted, and the trees tremble in the terror that is to come.
