Blue dragon dust is one of those things where you wonder who invented it and what curious sequence of events led up to it. Some unknown person had the wherewithal to strip a dragon of its scales, crush those scales in a pestle and mortar, then apply the resulting dust to a potion. Not only that, they downed said potion and stood in the path of a dragon. Does that not seem inexorably mad to you?
But thank you, inexorably mad person, because now we have this potent ingredient which can protect a person from dragonfire. You have been forgotten in tiem, but your blue dusty legacy lives on.
