The corpse flower is a peculiar creature. Strange, almost flesh-like sacks, filled with a noxious gas that explodes upon contact with the air. The resulting mass of fibres looks disturbingly like thin strips of a cadaver's skin, earning it the name "corpse cotton" by the more macabre Emberwood villagers.
In truth it's little more than thick plant fibres that can be woven together into a smooth, durable and, frankly, fashionable fabric.
