You may wonder where the "cursed" moniker comes from. There is no need to worry. You're not cursed by wearing it, nor will making it mean you'll be visited by the three dragons of past, present and future in the night. It has a wildly different etymology.

The "cursed" is a tannery thing, you see. Cursed leather is notoriously hard to work and shape. Only the foremost tanners can manipulate it. But even they have a hard time, often exclaiming "cursed leather!" at the top of their lungs
