The tanned hide of a powerful Dragonwilds:dire wolf. It's sturdy, thick, ready for enchantment and more resilient than normal leather.
A legend speaks of a warrior that wore the tanned hide of a dire wolf. He wore it proudly as he walked the streets and used it to strike fear into the hearts of bandits and criminals alike. After all, a warrior that could best such a beast, was no one to be trifled with.
The story goes that one day he met another warrior, proud, skillful and handsome, and the two of them became the best of friends. They would fight together, spar together and rescued helpless villagers as an unstoppable pair. Until the night of the full moon, where the truth was revealed. Where once his new friend had stood, there was now a dread wolf of midnight-black fur and eyes of burning coal. They fought again, but gone was the jovial sparring of friends. Now they fought as man and beast, tooth and claw versus blade and shield, until all that was left of the two of them was this story.
