The Mould-covered Journal is found on the crossroads north of the first Dragonwilds:Purification Pool, in Dragonwilds:Bleakfields Valley when entering Dragonwilds:Fellhollow.

Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

I fled, like the coward I am, back toward Bramblemead, back to the hatred. Yet, the way is closed. A great wall bars my path. I am a prisoner here among the damned.

We all tried so hard to stem the tide. The Wild Knights to the east pushed back against the horde as much as they could. They walled themselves away in their keep until no one remains alive to guard it.

Emberwood sealed itself away behind a barrier, priests working together in unified cause. Faith locks everyone out, and everyone in.

As for the tower, and those who dwelled beside it, it’s shattered. The dragons’ disciples lost in a great lake of sorrow and grief. Damned by their own devotion.

And here I am, clawing at a wall, mere metres of stone between safety and despair. Despair always wins.

Perhaps it is like those doors? I see them sometimes, out of the corner of my eye. Strange and ephemeral, inviting me in. Yet, if I focus on them, I see nothing. Only when I feel myself slipping away do they show themselves again. Perhaps a wall is not always a wall, like a door is not always there?

It doesn’t matter. I am lost. Fellhollow is lost.

It’s all her fault.
