It is almost imperceptible, but mystic cloth hums. It's the magical resonance: the elemental threads pushing against each other as their charge shifts. That oscillation also means that there is a lightly massaging effect on the wearer. It's entirely possible to feel calm from the vibrations as you stride into battle.

You might also be misstaken for thinking that mystic cloth is blue. On a microscopic level, it's actually a multitude of colours, combining to form the illusion of blue. As a magician once told me, it's the same effect as a blue sky: it is the result of all the colours in the world combining to make a wondrous azure.
