The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Am I the only one that works around here? Because it seems like I am. Each day, I log the incoming supplies and assign where they'll go in the keep; and each day, everyone forgets that I need money to secure them.

Instead, they bicker and fight among themselves like pups.

We were great once, weren't we? The mighty Children of Shadows, reborn as Zamorak's knights of black! We were magi with the power to call a legion of demons to serve at our command.

Now, I have to explain to the cook why we've got three cabbages between us, and find a way to make it last a week.

I would leave, if the Shadows would let me. But they tell me I have work to do, and must stay here to keep it going. I try to ignore them as best I can, but they can be so very cruel.
