Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
In Dragonwilds:Fellhollow the dead refuse to stay buried. All save one.

Dragonwilds:Jenniva Milgrim was a fan of her rest, she liked nothing more than to ensconce herself within her blankets and disappear into a nice dream. Mornings become lost to her and soon evenings joined her campaign and she would spend most of her existence in the myriad worlds of her subconscious.

Then, one cruel day, she died. A victim of one of the first waves of risen dead. She died, then awoke again as one of the rampaging horde.

Expect she did not rampage like the others. She did not cross the lands in search of souls to claim, or flesh to consume. Instead she sought comfort one again in blankets and cushions, but found that sleep was denied her, as dreams are the province of the living.

There was precious little capability for thought in what remained of her brain, but a singular idea took hold. Since one buried the dead, perhaps that was where the dead could dream? Six feet under the soil, in blissful sleep.

So it was, Jenniva became the first of the dead to bury themselves, using this very tool to do so.

It is said, that if you can find her grave, buried deep in the woods, you can still hear her snoring.
