Minecraft:Cerberus

Template:Infobox character Cerberus is a three-headed dog-like creature that resides in the Minecraft:Maze of the Minotaur in the Minecraft:Minecraft Mini-Series.

Appearance

Resembling the Minecraft:wither, Cerberus has a purple skeleton body with no feet, hence floating in the air. He has three dog-like heads, each with fully red eyes, pale lavender eyebrows and cheeks, and three sharp fangs. A chain appears to surround his chest.

Biography

After the team managed to get through the Maze of the Minotaur with the help of creepers chasing them, they immediately got overwhelmed and Minecraft:Durango attempted scaring them away. While he was successful, it was revealed that the creepers were scared of the Minecraft:Minotaur Golem, who came out of his lair before a Minecraft:cyclops and Cerberus joined him. The Minotaur Golem and the cyclops soon fell into a ditch Minecraft:Zed dug beneath them. Outnumbered, Cerberus quickly flew away out of fear. Later, when Minecraft:CommuniKate attempted executing a command to self-destroy Minecraft:Poseidon's command block statue, she accidentally summoned the Minotaur Golem's trio in front of her friends, so she quickly despawned them out of fear.

Behavior

While the series does not show his powers, Cerberus is presumed to have immense power like the Minecraft:Minotaur Golem and Minecraft:cyclops. However, he is overdependent of his allies and often feels afraid when he gets outnumbered.

Trivia

• In Greek mythology, Template:W is a multi-headed dog used by Hades to prevent the dead from leaving the underworld.
• Cerberus in the Minecraft:Minecraft Mini-Series is based on the "Wither" minifigure in series 12 from Mattel which in turn was based on a texture for the Minecraft:wither in the Greek Mythology Mash-up pack.
