The Cobalt Cape is a Minecraft:cape that was given out to players who won competitions for the game Cobalt, which was developed in collaboration with Minecraft:Mojang.

Distribution

This cape was given to participants/winners of the Cobalt Workshop Challenge level-making competitions<ref>Template:Citation</ref><ref name="CWC1 announcement">Template:Citation</ref><ref name="CWC2 announcement">Template:Citation</ref><ref name="CWC3 announcement">Template:Citation</ref> and the Cobalt League tournaments in 2016.<ref name="Cobalt League">Template:Tweet</ref>

• The design of the cape's elytra texture is based on a wasp enemy from Cobalt.<ref>Template:Reddit</ref>
• In the Steam version of Cobalt, Radwasps can no longer spawn in the color featured for the Cobalt Cape's Elytra. It's unclear if this is a bug or intended behavior as neither Oxeye Game Studio or Mojang publicly track issues for Cobalt.
