Some metals tower over others, laughing at the weakness of their lesser cousins. Iron is sturdy, strong and the foundation of many a civilization. The metal makes strong bridges to cross dangerous waters. It can be smithed into tools, and weapons, stronger than any before.

An iron pickaxe is one such tool. The blade of the axe is hard and precise, delivering massive force at the point of impact. Few ores and stones can resist this power, which is why dwarves have long since favored the iron pickaxe.
