History
"RuneFest" was first introduced as a concept that was formed on Template:RSL Template:RSL, when Jagex registered the domain name RuneFest.com. The annual event took place later that year on 28 August 2010. RuneFest was held annually until 2020, when it entered a five-year hiatus before returning in 2025.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds made its RuneFest debut at RuneFest 2026, with its schedule officially posted on the RuneFest website. The RuneScape: Dragonwilds summit ran from 16:00 (4:00 PM UTC) to 16:45 (4:45 PM UTC), preceding the other RuneScape presentations. The panel featured the history of Dragonwilds:Ashenfall's development, explored the game's future beyond its 1.0 release, and revealed the 2027 roadmap.
