It can mine the same ores as the previous tiers, along with Dragonwilds:soul stone, dealing 66 damage to minable ores, and 132 with a critical swing.

The recipe and ability to craft steel pickaxe are unlocked upon obtaining Dragonwilds:willow logs for the first time.
