Minecraft:Java Edition 13w01b

13w01b is the second Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.5, released on January 4, 2013<ref>Template:Cite</ref> to fix some of the bugs and crashes in the Minecraft:13w01a snapshot.

Minecraft:Chests

• All containers output a redstone signal when a Minecraft:comparator is placed against it directly.
  • The strength of it depends on how full the container is.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>
• This works with trapped chests as well, meaning it can provide two redstone signals with different causes at the same time.

Minecraft:Hoppers

• Minecraft:Rails can now be placed on top of hoppers, which allows emptying Minecraft:chest minecarts.

Trivia

• 13w01b was released on the second earliest calendar out of all snapshots on January 4, only beaten by Minecraft:13w01a and Minecraft:18w01a on January 3.
• This was the last Minecraft version that used terrain.png.
