Minecraft:Lure

Lure is an Minecraft:enchantment applied to Minecraft:fishing rods that decreases the wait time for bites when fishing.

Obtaining

Lure can be obtained from Minecraft:enchanting tables, drops from mobs that have spawned in a Minecraft:raid,Template:Only books obtained by Minecraft:fishing, Minecraft:monster room chests, Minecraft:librarian Minecraft:villagers, and non-village Minecraft:structure loot.

Usage

Lure increases the rate of something biting the Minecraft:player's hook while Minecraft:fishing. Specifically, it decreases the wait time for something to appear by 5 seconds per level. See Minecraft:Fishing for more information.

If Minecraft:commands are used to increase the enchantment level beyond 5, the wait timer does not start and fish do not bite.
