Minecraft:Potato bee

Template:EntityA potato bee is a potato variant of the Minecraft:bee, exclusive to the April Fools' joke snapshot 24w14potato. Like other potato mobs, it is not a separate entity: it uses the regular bee's entity, and its potato appearance is enforced by the Minecraft:Potato dimension.

Sprites

No entity sprite of its own; interfaces display the regular bee sprite: Template:EntitySprite.

Variants

The potato bee has four distinct states, each with its own render and its own texture:

• Normal
• Angry (eyes turn red)
• With nectar
• Angry with nectar

Drops occur only when killed with the Minecraft:potato peeler.

Behavior

The potato bee behaves identically to a regular Minecraft:bee: it flies around flowers, pollinates crops and stings when provoked, applying Poison I for 10 seconds (18 seconds on Hard). While it is in the Potato dimension, it takes bonus damage from the Minecraft:potato peeler.

Sounds

No sound events of its own; reuses the regular bee's sounds (Friendly Creatures category).
