Minecraft:Stronghold/Structure/Library

Template:Structure info Libraries are sometimes found in Minecraft:strongholds, up to 2 per stronghold can generate and never within four rooms of the starting staircase. Stronghold libraries are composed of Minecraft:stone bricks, Minecraft:oak planks, oak fences, Minecraft:torches, Minecraft:bookshelves, Minecraft:cobwebs, one loot Minecraft:chest; it may include Minecraft:ladders and an additional loot chest if it is a two-story library.

The entrance of the library is chosen randomly between the stronghold doors. Every air block in layers 1-4 has a 7% chance to generate as a cobweb instead, therefore the table below shows the average number of cobwebs.

If the library is generated partially or totally floating in a cave and the wall on which the ladders are normally supported is not generated, the ladders will also not generate.

If the two story library collides with other parts of the stronghold during generation due to its height (it is the biggest room of the stronghold, it is not a rare occurrence), then a one-story one is generated in its place.
